Samsung Week 2026: A Business AI Device Evaluation Checklist
Sources, AI assistance & corrections
AI-device promotions can prompt an office technology review. A purchase decision should still begin with the job employees need to complete.
Source published October 21, 2026; SWY article published October 22, 2026 WIB. Samsung describes Samsung Week as a campaign running October 12–November 1 across 63 countries. The source covers an event already underway, rather than a campaign starting today. Dates, products and benefits vary by country.
What should buyers check?
The announcement highlights AI-enabled device experiences and purchasing services on Samsung.com. Global information does not establish that a particular offer is available in Indonesia. Check the country page, product conditions and local support before using an offer in a budget.
A practical business evaluation checklist
The following is SWY's analysis, not a device test or an official promotion requirement.
- Define one measurable task, such as reviewing field documents, presenting material or responding to customers.
- Test the team's own files, company account access, existing applications and external displays.
- Calculate ownership costs, including accessories, software subscriptions, connectivity, maintenance and staff training.
- Identify which data leaves the device when AI features are enabled, and who can approve customer-data use.
- Review account recovery, security updates, warranty support and the procedure for a lost device.
Run a small pilot first
Where possible, test one unit before a wider rollout. Compare task completion time and correction counts against the current setup, then document limitations. A longer feature list alone does not justify replacing every employee's device.
