OpenAI Forms Deployment Company: Enterprise AI Gets More Serious
Sources, AI assistance & corrections

Enterprise AI adoption becomes useful when a business can identify the process, owner and evidence of improvement. The company announcement discussed in this archived article should be separated from SWY's practical advice about implementing an internal workflow.
Choose one bounded process
Start with a repetitive task whose inputs and acceptable output are already understood. Examples include routing an enquiry to a department or drafting a summary from approved service documents. Do not begin by giving an agent broad access to every company application. Define who can approve its work and where unresolved cases go.
Example: an internal knowledge assistant
A team wants answers about its operating procedures. First identify the approved documents, their owners and revision dates. An answer should link to the relevant passage and acknowledge when the documents do not answer the question. The assistant must not combine documents that the current employee is not authorized to read. This is a hypothetical implementation plan, not a claim about a delivered customer system.
Measure the pilot honestly
Record a baseline using the team's existing process. During the pilot, track correct answers, human corrections, unresolved requests, response time and the cost of accepted work. A high number of generated responses can coexist with poor accuracy, so output volume alone is not a success measure.
Keep a way to disable the AI feature while preserving access to the underlying documents. Agree how logs are retained and who handles an incorrect answer. Expand only when the process owner has reviewed the evidence and accepted the remaining limits. A vendor announcement cannot establish those operational facts for an individual business.
